Just a heads up that tomorrow is the Race for the Cure held downtown on the mall. Not sure which roads are blocked off, but the race route does not affect our bike/run course.

I'm riding my bike from West End of Alexandria - so hopefully no traffic issues. Go Green!

I knew about the race, but didn't think about what would be closed. I was planning on riding my bike down from Columbia Heights. Guess I'll have to map out a way around the closures.

Hey James,

Liz and I are meeting at 6am at the small park at 16th and Harvard to ride down. I'm thinking 16th down to the whitehouse and then west to 23rd and down past the lincoln might work. It doesn't look like 23rd street is closed, and from there it is possible to hop on ohio drive. If you want to ride down, we'll be there at 6!

I took a couple laps around the park this morning, but didn't see you gals, so I just went ahead and rode down solo.
