Is there someone we can direct questions to pertaining to the Half Iron Program 2011? Trying to decide if it is for me this year or not before signing up.

Are we supposed to get some kind of notification or schedule for the HIP? I signed up but haven't received anything...

I heard from Julie Kennedy that:

"The program starts on January 17 so you will start receiving information at that time."

No idea if when our first group meeting/practice/clinic is scheduled

Are most of the meetings/training sessions together on Wednesdays or Saturdays?

I work almost every Wednesday night and Saturday during the day, so if so, then this would not be for me ..

Hi Everyone,

Thanks for joining the Half Ironman Training Program! The program begins on January 17 and coach AJ will be sending out your training schedules the week before. We will also be holding a kickoff meeting for program participants during the first week of the program. A welcome e-mail will be sent out to all participants with additional program details so stay tuned!

Paco, the days for the clinics and group training sessions will vary, but they will be held on weekend mornings or during the week after work. You won't miss much on Wednesday evenings but there will be a number of activities scheduled on Saturday mornings. However, as part of the program you will receive the training plan and guidance from the coach and we will share the infomration from the clinics with all program participants. Additionally, each clinic will be held twice, once early in the season and once for the later races so you will have two chances to attend each one. I hope this helps.
