Or do you mean "while it's cold"? It was coolllllddd last year during this race. :)

Suffering is a dessert best served cold.

BTW, I'm not sold on this year's premium.

I can't tell if it's going to look Bruce Lee, or Napoleon Dynamite.

This has become an annual tradition so I'll be there. I think the Brooks Breakaway premium looks sweet. Maybe not the design, but the shirt itself.

I will most likely be there again this year.

Though I still can't figure out what exactly the premium is this year. I see mentions of a jacket, a fleece, and a long sleeve breakaway premium all on the same page.

If you're an alum, you have in your collection of race shirts a long sleeved top, and a fleece from last year.

This year's premium is a breakaway jacket which complements your existing Celtic Brooks gear. Or your gold glitter tooth necklace.

My favorite will remain the skintight "Snowbirds" design, with two interestingly placed bird's eyes.

You're killing me, Xena! I'm in - Santa Claus hat, Heidi braids, 9 layers of clothing, and all.

Hopefully the premium will be the Irish coffee with whiskey served at race's end '07. Enough to warm one's cockles. (Whiskey = Old Gaelic/Celtic for "water of the gods.) Not to mention the follow-on mega brunch at Cafe Hon....

Awesome! I love this event. The post-race food is sooooooo good. I wear the hell out of those premium shirts and jackets and I love that I can be 300 miles from DC and run into somebody wearing that signature Celtic design.

It looks like this race is going to sell out in the next week or two. Sign up now if you want to do it. I'm staying in Baltimore the night before so I don't have to wake up so early in the morning. Anyone else doing that and want to meet up for dinner? Last year we went to Bicycle Bistro for dinner but just found out they are now closed. Open for other suggestions.

In!

Edit: Last year, a large group had a great brunch afterwards at Cafe Hon.

Might try to call ahead as there can be a wait.

I'm in. This was my first ever solely running race last year.

Now just to convince my friend to let me crash at her place again the night before as she's only a couple blocks from the race site. :)

And yeah, lunch at Cafe Hon afterward was great.

I just registered but will probably drive up in the morning. Brunch afterwards sounds good.

Too bad DC Tri Club wasn't an option on the club affiliation during registration.

I'll try to remember to call Cafe Hon tomorrow and see about reserving the back room. That has worked in the past as long as they aren't having an event.

If someone else does it first, please post.

I played phone tag today with the lady that I need to speak with at Hon Cafe. Hopefully, I can catch her tomorrow.

I'll keep you posted.
