For those of you who missed it, last night's AU swim clinic was awesome! As advertised, it included a mix of drills, stroke technique and feedback, and pace/interval/endurance work. Coaches Tammy and Denis make a great pairing and provided their usual dose of motivation, guidance, and humor (much appreciated by Ashley, Jeanne, Jotika, Carl, and Mr. T. Kittay). A great workout and so much fun!
I concur! Also, for those that might be newer to tris and really not feeling so confident on their swimming or just want some help on their stroke (like me!), this group is perfect! I swam with the beginner group last night and despite that coming into it I thought maybe I should be more intermediate, I found out that I really had a lot to learn! I got some great tips and we did some awesome simple drills to improve form and technique to make ourselves more efficient in the water. So don't be afraid to come out and join the group! I believe that they have another 6 week clinic that starts after this one ends also.
i completely agree with the prior posts, always great coaching. who is this curious Mr. T. Kittay? possibly a new enrollee? nontheless, welcome Mr. TK
Hope they do another session for the winter as we prep for early races - this is da bomb for our club.
Perhaps T Kittay should pay a club membership fee just like everyone else.
