Help Swimming?
POSTED: 9/12/10 4:50 PM

Hey, I just completed the Nation's and finally realized that I need help swimming faster. I'm looking for tips on technique from a real swimmer. I'm happy to pay. Any takers? (I swim 1000 m in about 20 minutes currently).

Thanks, Sloan

I too am looking for a stroke coach. Any recommendations?

I received a call from Dennis Crean from waveoneswimming. He is a coach and runs swim clinics. You can reach him at (3014554341).

Good luck.

I've been training with Denis and Tammy (also from waveoneswimming) for 1.5 years now. When I first met them, I couldn't even make it across a 25 meter pool, as I had never been swimming before. Through much open water training, stroke technique/analysis, mental/race preparation, Denis got me from being downright terrified of the open water -- (so much so that I bailed on numerous tris last year, right at the water's edge when my wave was being called) -- to a point where swimming is now my favorite of the three disciplines; and, I can easily swim a mile in the open water wet-suit free! :) I'm definitely not setting any records, but I highly recommend him for coaching, as well as waveoneswimming for clinics.
