I'm hoping to compete in a winter triathlon this winter, and I am interested in any tips others may about with these events--or about anyone's experience competing in them. I see that USAT has a section on winter tris (http://www.usatriathlon.org/events/363); however, the only race listed on that site is the national championship in Utah (in January). Another prominent link that comes up in a Google search is that for the New England Winter Triathlon and Multisport Series page (http://wintermultisport.com/). That page features about 5 races that all seem to take place in (predictably) New England. Anyone out there know anything about these races--or is registered to compete in one this winter?
