Are there any fall races that are still open?

I don't think there are any local races that are still open. The Half Full Tri has sold out.

For non-local races, you could check to see if they have community/charity slots available. Those are much more expensive options but they are usually available well after the general registration slots sell out. Be prepared for sticker shock though.

I did the Naylor's Beach Oly last year and saw a few DC Tri peeps down there. The bike course is hilly and fun. It appears to still be open.

There are over 80 DC Tri Club members registered for the Myrtle Beach Triathlon on October 2nd. You get to pick your distance: sprint, Quartermax (Oly) or Halfmax.
