Can anyone share firsthand insights on this full iron distance triathlon? I've read everywhere that it's famous for its "grueling" hills, but I suspect part of that stems from the many Floridians that do it and aren't used to riding hills. Also, I've seen some articles reference 6,000 feet of total bike climbing, yet I've seen Map My Ride profiles that say it's more like 2,000. Any insights would be appreciated. Thanks.
I heard it's a loop that you climb the 2000 ft hill multiple times.
