It was in the Newsletter, but please share with your friends/family/coworkers that 2014 NTP registration opens on Monday. There will be an info session on Saturday for anyone who's on the fence.
NEW TRIATHLETE PROGRAM INFO MEETING
Triathlon is super fun. It comes in many forms and anyone can do it. Did you just join the Club and want to prepare for your first triathlon? Do you have any friends who are interested in doing their first triathlon? Does anyone in your family want to join you instead of being the sherpa? The Club will be hosting an information session prior to registration for anyone who wants to learn more about participating in an organized program to help prepare those who are new to the sport of triathlon.
Overview: The New Triathlete Program is a structured training program led by dedicated DC Triathlon Club volunteers that offers information and support to help individuals complete their first triathlon. The overall structure of the program is an 18 week guided training plan, developed by a certified USAT Level I Triathlon Coach, that culminates in a local area triathlon.
Informational Meeting: If you're interested in learning more about the program and what it entails, come join the NTP Co-Leaders for an informational meeting. No need to sign up and pay before you know what you're getting into! Join us and learn what it's about and ask any questions that you might have!

Most definitely. It's just a Q&A Information session in case you aren't sure what the program entails or aren't sure you want to do it.

Absolutely you can still sign up for NTP. The info session is just that, an informational session on what the program entails, how it's structured followed by some Q/A with the NTP Co-leaders and some DC Tri Club members.
A lot of information you can already find on the program page here:
Thanks you guys for the asnwer.
Just a quick note on the meeting - the room we'll be in at the West End library can get pretty hot sometimes, so you'll probably want to dress in layers. Look forward to seeing folks there!
