Should we pull together a dinner session for Saturday night (June 7th)? Look forward to seeing some of you out there!

I'm heading out there!

I'm actually late to the game and looking for a ride/room situation if anyone has room in there vehicle or wants to split coming from downtown DC. I'm ashamed I'm asking this late in the game so please feel free to publicly shame me.

I going on Sat morning and camping at HS. So, I can help get you there, but I don't have a room offer. You can connect me at dberry132 at I probably will stay later on Sunday because I am transporting a tent for the club.

Hey! I'm in for this Sunday.

I'd be game for an early-ish dinner Saturday night. No thoughts on a place - where I've eaten previously isn't there any more. Well, it is, but it's a "gastropub" now whatever that means. :-)

and thanks for the heads up, Holli. I just sent an email to that addy as apparently I didn't include DC Tri when I registered.

Good luck to those racing Eagleman! If you haven't signed up to race with the DC Tri Club, be sure to do so at packet pickup.
Big HUGE thanks to Hugh Harris!! This will be his 4th time in 5 yrs that he'll be the tent guy there and he's not racing. He's just doing it twice in September at IMMD. ;-p
The tent is awesome to have as a rally spot pre and post race, meet up with fellow club members and get some respite from the hot blazing sun!
Be sure to thank Hugh and lend him a hand as he brings in:
1. Tent
2. Tables and 1-2 chairs (if you have a folding chair bring it)
3. Orange water cooler (plus cups)
4. Wheeled blue cooler
5. Ice, water, juice and/or sodas
6. Snacks, chips, etc.
7. Bagels/bananas

Good luck all! I'll see you all out there on race morning. Looks like okay weather. And the water temp is still wetsuit legal at 73.8 degrees this morning. Just be prepared for a wetsuit and non-wetsuit swim as the Choptank can warm up quickly.

Derek and Becky, I'd be up for joining you for dinner at 6:45 if they can add a spot.
