Recommend me a Tailor!
POSTED: 12/09/11 9:08 PM

Topic says it all. I have a few suits that need to be made smaller. Anyone had good experiences with someone in the DC area?

I'm in Arlington but don't mind driving/metroing to a good place.

Thanks!

Become an engineer in Silicon Valley; you won't need a suit, and you can do Escape from Alcatraz and VineMan.

I got a suit done at Stephen the Tailor in Foggy Bottom. Seemed a little pricey but they did a good job. They had good reviews on yelp if you want to read more. That's how I found them.

Joe Sauro is awesome. Been fitting Presidents for years.
1105 19th Street NW (it's an office building and you need to go downstairs in the elevator).

Reed's custom tailors in Arlington.

I just took a couple things there, and they did a good job getting off-the-rack pieces to fit pretty well.
