Description: An endless array of athletic shoe styles and models can make it downright impossible to determine which shoe is right for you. The talk will address walking and running biomechanics, the different foot types, whether orthotics work and how, and self-tests so you can make an informed choice about what shoe is right for your anatomy and activity.

- Athletic shoe anatomy
- Shoe types and their characteristics
- Tests to help you determine the right shoe
- Shoe selection for specific foot types
