Any word on whether they'll be doing the Total 200 this year, and when it will be?
It will be happening but the date is still being determined-- but I think the top two dates are June 26 and July 17. So stay tuned!
Registration has been delayed but should open within a month or so.
June 26 conflicts w/ the Philly Tri - mid-Atlantic club championships
Agreed, July 17th is much better! Crossing my fingers...
We could change the Total200 course so that we ride to Philly Saturday and then take the championship on Sunday. That would be xtreme.
The Savageman folks are doing their Garrett County Gran Fondo on June 26-27. 200 miles flat or 128 miles w/ 15,000 feet of climbing?
Man that would look so awesome. All of us rolling in there in DC Tri gear and then taking the championship. I am thinking we would be Stud Status Club.
Pinging this one again. Any word?
Looks like July 17 is the new date for Total 200. I'll post to this thread as soon as registration opens...
Just 200 ?....
july 17weekend is the weekend of the nyctri
so some people might have a conflict with that date as well.
Thanks, Eric. Looking forward to it.
The Garrett County Gran Fondo is official. The Diabolical Double is the feature event, but there are other ride options.
Who's up for the Double Double? The Diabolical Double in late June followed by the Total 200. Oh yeah, idiocy! Love it!
Total 200 - Saturday July 17
Registration will OPEN on MONDAY May 17.
If you have any questions about the ride or how it works please
check out the website for more details. If the info you're looking for
is not there go ahead and email us and we'll update the site.
As with every Total 200, volunteers are critical to our success.
Please help us invite others to volunteer. There are plenty of
options and it's a great way for someone you know to share the
day with you.
DOUBLE DOUBLE is a GREAT IDEA
I know I'll be riding both.
Look forward to riding with you,
Registration is OPEN!
In. Double Double is on.
How fast does this typically fill up?
I'm in. :)
So other than Will, who else is in? Planning on trying to hold 18.5/19 both ways, w/a change of jersey/bibs/socks, butt'r/sunscreen, and tubes/CO2 for my 1/2 way bag.
Past ride vets, any suggestions? Any tips Eric?
Stay on top of your hydration. Stay with a group of similar pace and work together. Don't take crazy hard/long pulls - you will pay for it later in the day!
Its just eight 25 mile rides... =)
