Last week Greg a guy I work indirectly with and his wife were fatally struck while on their tandem. Greg was riding with his wife helping her to rehabilitate from injuries she sustained in an accident that almost took her and all of her families lives last year. Through her perserverence she qualified for NYC Marathon. They leave behind a 7 year old daughter. This is not a scam; the people in my office cannot believe this has happened to a family that during the accident last year were all lifeflighted to the nearest hospital. Greg has been descibed to me as the life of the party and a hot ticket. Take the time to read the links, they are short.
