So that's how you turn swimming into an incredibly expensive sport: you make a suit that costs $500 and then make that suit last a seeming max of 30 hours.

Great goggly moogly!!!!! That means your suit is getting paid just above $18 per hour.

Really, it's a shame for this generation of swimmers. In a few years, I think the prices will come down a bit (or budgets will adjust), and everyone will use the technology. So for the time being, the well-funded programs will dominate unless the governing organizations decide to rewrite the rules, which we know they won't.

BTW - $18/hr MINIMUM. Most suits don't last half that long, so think $40/hr+!!! 8O
