Does anyone have any good guidance on how to a field test to determine ones actual heart rate zones and the like. I would like to incorperate hr zone workouts into my training since I have the gadgets to do it now. I've read that your zones on the bike are going to be different than the run so I was wanting to figure mine out for both of them.
I've come across references to threshold testing as well and not exactly sure what that is or how one determines ones own threshold.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
