Anyone been swimming at Sandy Point after the 4th? I went prior and there were no jellyfish, but wanted to see if that had changed as the weeks heat up.
Ask Tuan. No really, I was out there on Monday and there were no signs of jellyfish. The water felt pretty good especially on such a hot day.
I just swam the Severn River at the Academy this past Friday: water was warm low-mid 70s, no jellies.
Small group of us swimming 2.4mi along the Naval Academy in the Severn tomorrow 7/17 at 230pm, in case anyone wants to join!
What is address and who can I contact? I will like to join
Update from a swim today at Sandy Point. There are NO signs of jellyfish. None. The water wasn't even that warm, maybe 74-75 degrees or so.

Has anyone been to SP lately? The NOAA website the predicts jellyfish is busted: http://chesapeakebay.noaa.gov/remote-sensing-for-coastal-management/forecasting-sea-nettles
Lulu393 - I was there yesterday 7/12 around 2pm and I did not encounter any jellyfish.
I went yesterday 7-12 and didn't feel any jellyfish.
Thanks for the info folks. Hoping for another jellyfish-free weekend at Sandy Point. Anyone wanna join me Sunday morning? I can pick you up in DC.
Alternatively, we could check out Greenbrier lake about an hour away.
