I'm already planning on doing it (or at least most of it) on 4/1 if you don't mind going a bit earlier.

If you can't get a group on 4/7, I would be interested in 4/14 or 4/21, depending on Mt. Weather opportunities on 4/14. I can drive and take 2 people + 2 bikes.

I could be in for this, especially with a possible stop at Sandy Point for an OWS.

I would be in for the 14th (including the OWS)

I could do 4/14, but would have to be back early for an event so the OWS would be out. If we did 4/21, that would be better.

Which one works better for people??

4/21 won't be as cold! :-)

Looks like the popular vote gets the 14th. So.. what time should we meet up in Cambridge?

I know there is a good place to start, cause I did it once before, but does anyone know like an address we can GPS or a good location to meet up? There is that WAWA up there??

Clip in at like 9am?

I'm super duper 100% in for the 14th. I can take 2 people/2 bikes. Will defer to experts on location.

How long does it take to get out there? 9 sounds good unless that means leaving at 6. :)

I'm in for the 14th, I'm flexible with logistics so I'll just follow the popular vote.

Interested on the 14th too. It takes almost 2 hours to get there from DC-MD border. So a starting time of 9:30 might be nice, getting us out of bed around 6:30 AM.

Sounds like the 14th is the ideal day for Eagleman training. A local Y is having a half-marathon the same day that mirrors the Eagleman run (http://www.dorchesterymca.org/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=53:crab-run&catid=10:news&Itemid=75).

I've never done Eagleman, but the maps make it look like the bike/run courses overlap at least briefly (Jenkins Creek Rd.). The race starts at 8, but's it's an out-and-back.

Just something to have on your radar.

I jacked up my shoulder again, so won't be getting any long rides in this weekend. I hope to be back together soon.

Have fun this weekend if you decide to head up and enjoy the course.

Hope I am better to actual race Eagle!

Tania.

Is the meeting place for the course ride on the 14th the same as the staging area for the Eagleman race?

Aw man Tania, hope you heal up and get back soon (that it's not a race-threatening injury).
I'm also out, been working 12 hr days and don't feel like another 2 hour drive to get a bike in. Staying local.

I'd like to join the ride but can someone tell me the details? How many miles will we be riding? At what is the approx. pace?

I just want to make sure I can do the mileage before committing.

Thanks and looking forward to riding with you all!

I am still planning to do the Eagleman bike course this Saturday the 14th. 19-21 is good. Is the Eagleman transition area the place to start?
