The HIP program is $50 and you can register through the Shop link on the home page. Then selecting training races and programs and choose to register for HIP. There's more information on HIP under the Train link.

I am a new member but it will not let me join in the shop portion of the site. Is it because I am too new to be recognized? Would like to participate if still available. I'm doing EM in June. Thanks.

If it says Not Available to Purchase when you are logged in, then it's full. That's what it does when an item is sold out/filled up.

Philotri - please post your email address or the best way to contact you. I set up my Training Peaks account, but do not know how to pass this info onto you. Thanks!

Hi All,

Just wanted to let you know that we are working on updating the HIP page. Take a look and you should find a bit more information on Training Peaks as well as the full set of swim workouts.

Don't forget, it is swim month so get to the pool with your new workouts!

I am planning to do Mooseman. I would be interested in what you find on lodging or possibly getting a house or condo for the weekend.

Hi there,

I have registered for HIP and look forward to meeting you all!!!!

Will see you at HH, I am in the logan circle area and an average runner...but if you want to put on your cold weather gear and go for a run or the bike let me know!!!

I did my first half @ beach2battleship and I finished!!!! 5:51 or something like that.

I want to work on my running though and make some new friends!!! Have a great Holiday!

Anyone know anything about HalfFull in Columbia, MD? Looking for my half and like the fact that it's so close and later in the season. Specifically, input on the course (hilly or flat, aesthetically pleasing, etc.) would be helpful. Thanks!

They have posted run and bike course maps which might help you find out more. There is an elevation map posted for the run course. Eventually, I'll probably map the bike route to see elevation, etc. but haven't had a chance to do that yet.
If' you've done the Columbia Triathlon, my guess is that the course will have some similarities.

Not sure if it is the same as Columbia but I did do that one in 09. Very hilly bike and run.

I am signed up for Mooseman also. I'd be excited to get a moose crowd going! Perhaps we can coordinate travel, lodging and some training. I've never raced it though so I have no good beta.

ndusty@mac.com is my direct email...if anyone is interested.
