Haines Point Tuesday after Work
POSTED: 7/05/09 10:51 PM

I am doing Haines Point after work again this week on Tuesday. I usually get in about 20 miles and then 3-4 mile run. Moderate to strong pace 18-20 mph, and run is at own pace. Hit me up if you would like to join. I start at 5-5:30PM.

Mark

Come to the Conte's Hill ride @ 6:30. I know it might start too late for you.

goto the conte's ride this tues if for no other reason:

"free beer and food after the ride."

simple as that. Again FREE!!!!, you don't have to buy anything at the store to take advantage of this either.\

There will be a huge turnout if the weather is good, because of the operative word "free".

Its a good ride and varying abilities, even if you don't own a Cervelo. Don't worry its not a Cervelo only ride even though it may look at that way. LOL.

FREE BEER AND FOOD!!!! Ok that is a reason to go.

I retract my email and will be going to Conte's on Tuesday, cause I am lured in by the word FREE. See you all there.

Lisa,

Can we ride our Tri bikes or do they prefer people to be on road bike. I have both so, either one works.

You can ride either. It's a mix of triathletes and roadies (more tri probably 70% w/ TT bikes or aerobars).

i'd say since you have both bikes, use the road bike.

its a big group, its common courtesy to use a road bike for a group ride that can literally be 80-100 people in numbers and people are drafting.

besides there is a larger hill that is easier to climb on a road bike and the descents are a bit easier on a road bike if this is your first time to the ride.
