How's the Expo? Is it worth my driving into DC and walking around?
If you're not registered for the WDC Tri and you don't need to pick up the packet, I'd probably say no. The room is fairly small and I didn't see anything new that I don't see in a regular bike/running/tri store. You can sign up for a raffle to win Champion Systems tri clothing and I think there's a raffle to win a nice tri bike. Xterra Wetsuits has a table where they offer deals on wetsuits. You can find those same deals online but here you can take the wetsuit home right away.
Conte's Bike Store was there. Some organic farmer's cooperative also had a table. They were promoting the fact that cottage cheese is OK for lactose-intolerant people. I'm not sure why triathletes are a target audience for that, but nothing controversial there. They may have had some deals on organic produce.
