I noticed this and was sort of thinking about it. I'm planning to do Kinetic half, but I'm nervous about having my first race of the season be my first ever half....I'm just a little worried that it's still going to be REALLY cold on 4/17...

I did the Rumpass Oly last year and FWIW remember it being a beautiful, warm day. Regardless, it's a great race and very well organized. I highly recommend it!

I'm doing it. So are at least 3 of my buddies. Last year we did Rumpass Sprint and Kinetic Sprint. Rumpass was warm and Kinetic 2 weeks later was pretty cold. Definitely a wetsuit race. It's only moderately hilly. Setup organization is good. Lake Anna's a nice location, nice roads, and the water's cleaner that time of year because speed boat season hasn't started yet.
