Nations Tri 2014 Bike Course
POSTED: 3/13/14 9:20 AM

So for the 2013 Nations Tri there was a lot of debate about the bike course change from the previous years. A lot of folks did not like it. I think a lot of that had to do with there being a couple of no passing zones/180 degree turns that slowed some folks down.

In the new newsletter for Nations Tri they said they changed the 2014 bike course and sure enough they did. It looks like it is a bit of a modification from the 2013 course. What do you guys think?

Looks like a 24.8 mi bike course crammed into a downtown area. Honestly, it looks just fine, kind of an amalgam of old Nations/DC Triathlon courses, fit to permitting restrictions.
I'm happy things haven't been condensed to doing a 1 mile loop 24.8 times. ;-)

I PR'd on the old courses, so I welcome that! Should be good, either way. It's nice to get back on Rock Creek Pkwy!
