I was wondering if anyone had any experience with The Bike Rack's fittings and/or tune ups. I got a gift card to the store and I was wondering if I should save it to buy equipment (which I don't really need right now) or if I should put it towards getting a tune up since my bike hasn't been professionally tuned up in a couple years. They mentioned that they could also do a small fitting/adjustment if I went in on a non-busy day.
Has anyone had any experience with their mechanics? How would they compare to Revolution Cycles (Arlington) or Spokes, etc? Those would be my other options since they are closer to my house.
Thanks for any help!
Their mechanics are pretty good. I bought my bike there and they've done many adjustments to the little mechanical things (dereuillers & brakes). I'd have no qualms trusting them to do a tune up on it, and if you have a gift cert, that sounds like a good way to use it there if you don't need gear.
However, I don't think they do real bike fittings. The small adjustments and such (which I got when I bought my bike and again a little later on) didn't amount to anything helpful.
Thanks a lot, Jason! I appreciate the help!
