Hi!

I have finally joined now that I will be moving to DC in a month for a six month assignment!!! I am really looking forward to meeting so many more training partners!! Any recommendations on great neighborhoods/places to live that is in the city and close to good workout locations?

Most of the young folk congregate in Clarendon (North Arlington, VA) and around there -

I live in Alexandria - access to W&OD trail and Mt. Vernon and a terrific Masters swim team at Chinquapin Rec Center. Althuogh Alexandria is a bit laid back for younger people.

Lots of people live around Wilson pool (north cleavland park). Wilson pool is the only DC 50m and DC tri has its masters swim in there too.
