Hi all -
Next event - Seagull Century. Anyone else from DC Tri heading that way. I am staying at the over priced Chesapeake Hyatt due to babysitting arrangements for my daughter.
Some of us expect to head out from the starting line at 7-7:15 am. Staying at the luxurious Motel 6...
If someone needs an entry, I know of one that is available.
Also may know of an extra spot in a motel in the area.
Latest from the organizers:

I'm in, but I don't really know anyone :)
I'm in and looking for someone to ride with since the friend I was supposed to ride with just bailed on me :(
There's supposed to be a group from Team Z too, also leaving from the starting linel around the same time. (We can all draft behind Beth, as it's supposed to be windy...) I'll be wearing a DCT jersey at the intersection near the start.
I'll be there! I'm one of the crazies driving down race morning.
Hope to start around 7:15 so hopefully I will see you guys. I will be wearing my DC Tri jersey!
Yikes! Forecast says winds WSW 20 to 30 mph...
Linday - I admire your Tri spirit. Why sleep in until 5a or 6a when you can get up at 3a!
I hope to be wearing my DC Tri jersey - weather permitting as it is sleeveless, but I have some rogue arm warmers from Terry that I will fashionably adorn. I wore out my DC tri shorts so you won't spot me there.
I am not psyched for the wind, but at least there won't be wind and rain : )
I am all for drafting behind Team Z - they are usually easy to spot.
I hope to start riding @7:15 or so. I have no one to ride with either so would be nice to hook up. My bike # is 70. This is my first Seagull Century so I would have no clue on where to hook up to start the ride.
Those at the headwind-wracked yet sun-spackled classic included: Beth Durman (5:49 time), Matthew Carson Crossley (1st century), Pamela Smmonds (112 + hour run), Shelly-Ann Sinclair, Julia Hoppock, Carol Cohen, Belinda J. Smith (1st century), Rhyne Beniga (century + run), Renato Molina (1st century), Sarah McGuire (1st century), Lauren Becker, Emmy Hully, Hillary Oe Hertler, Maureen Williams, and Misty Foal.
Maureen Williams - for the above. I rode with Hillary for about 40 miles or so. This was my 1st Century. Oh my, so much more civilized than Tris - beer, band and massage at the end and no run. Also, full swag support with tons of food and pretty clean bathrooms by sporting standards. Great time - yes, except for the wind that was never seemingly at one's back.
