I'm in! This will be my first IM.

I just checked and it's still open. And just a couple of years ago, that was impossible.

A still-not-so-good economy and adding two other IM races within an afternoon's drive north (Mt. Tremblant) and south (NYC-NJ) will do that.

Now it's IM Foundation slots only -- Who else is in?

Anyone racing at Lake Placid interested in a free Timex Run Trainer (GPS watch). A triathlete/PHD candidate friend of mine is doing research on race day pacing strategies relating to performance and Timex is one of the backers for the research.
