I am BRAND NEW to DC tri-club... and also brand new to tris! That said, I can't wait to get used to riding my new bike- is this newbie ride still happening? I'd love to be included!
Is this group still riding? I'd love to join in because I really need to get my butt back on the saddle!
Add my email to the list email@example.com!
Please add me to the listserv for weekend rides. Thanks!
I'll be up for this coming Sunday.
I would love to be a part of this newbies ride.
Here is my e-mail
I would like to be apart of it also! If someone can email me that be great! firstname.lastname@example.org
Let's do this ride already.
Weather for this Sunday promises to be good.
We can break into groups, with varying distances and pace, based on individual ability and conditioning.
Meet at Wisconsin and M, 9 am.
I'll probably be there. . as long as someone is willing to go painfully slow for me! :)
I forgot to include my email. It's: email@example.com
did someone say "painfully slow"...?? My kind of peeps!
please post the ride plan on the forum here and not just on a separate email list. I'm looking forward to it!
A synopsis of the last few email I got regarding the newbie ride was:
- This Sunday, Dec. 6. 9 am. Meet at Wisconsin and M in Georgetown.
- Ed Moser will be wearing a DC Tri bike shirt.
- As for distance, it's up to the group. 40 miles is pretty typical. Might suggest an easy 25 miler out MacArthur Blvd to Great Falls and back. Others can go longer up River Rd. if they like.
We still planning on riding? I'm getting a little wussy about it as I haven't ridden in forever and this weather is making me lazy.
Planning on it.
If canceled, will post here at 8 am Sunday morning.
