Here is the link to the Google Document I created to manage the signup list for the Conte’s Indoor Trainer Sessions on Saturday mornings. Please click on the link for Saturday’s date: January 15, 2011
Please enter your name in the next available cell on either the class list or the wait list.
Please do not move your name once you’ve entered it.
If you are cancelling your RSVP, it is your responsibility to remove your name from the list; please just delete your name and leave a blank cell wherever it is.
I will check the list at Noon on Friday and move people from the waitlist to the class list. If you originally entered your name on the waitlist, please check the class list on Friday to see if you are in.
All set. Thanks!
Yay. I made it! Now for another week of not walking up stairs.
It should be editable by all--sorry, I had to specify in the settings. Sorry for any confusion.
Brad quit scaring people...last week wasn't that bad!
Anybody that is signed up not able to make it Saturday so us wait listers can get lucky?!?!
To Peter's point:
Note that the class time is 7:00 AM this coming Saturday and not 8:00 AM. If this affects your ability to attend, please cancel your RSVP!
Okay... I was wrong about the 7 AM start time! Sorry for any confusion. I misunderstood a previous conversation that Ron and I had about him needing to get on a plane at 9:30 that day.
Class will start at 7:30 like last week!
Brad, you were able to walk?
The field test this week should take just over an hour, including the warm up and test. I do have to get out of Conte's around 8:45-9:00 to make it home and shower and catch a flight.
At the end of the field test, your legs should be pretty exhausted as the test itself is a 20-30 minute all out effort (after the warm up, anaerobic primer, and stead state warm up) depending on your fitness level. Courtney and I did it last night and I can honestly say that walking up the escalators on the Metro was tiring. However, the only way to be accurate with the test and establish solid training zones is to peform at a high intensity.
Once the field test is completed, I'm going to hit the road, you can choose to continue to ride for a bit longer and burn some calories or pack up after cooling down for about 10 minutes. On the bright side, no single leg drills this week! I will post another workout for the midweek session which you all should be peforming.
Any questions hit me up, don't forget to bring your HR monitors!!!
I've been ordered to quit scaring people, so yes. I am walking quite comfortably now.
Mark Zaragozas grandfather passed away so he'll be unable to make this weekend. So next person on the waitlist is in. I'll update the google doc at some point today.
Well I'm excited I made it in for Saturday, but sad to hear the reason why. Sorry to hear that.
An updated list for tomorrow's class is posted. Please check to see if you are on it!
Thanks everyone for coming out this morning. The HR and zone formula are located in the original thread from the first session. It's on the 4th page there as are directions. Just plug in your average HR from the 20 or 30 minute test this morning. Any questions please ask. And yes my 1030 flight never left and is hopefully leaving sometime in the next 3 hours.
Should we be doing the Week 3 workout or are you posting something else for us to do?
Go ahead with the week 3 program and I'll redo it slightly for this weekend Single legs drills until 90 rpms and then use that time to ensure that you are incorporating those same muscles while having both feet clipped in at the higher rpms.
