Registration for the Half Full Triathlon in Columbia, MD opens tomorrow. Check it out:
I'm signing up. LiveStrong.
I can't let you do that alone bash brother / fellow football thrower. I'm with ya. it's next year right, not this year...?
Yup. October 2010.
The home page says that there is a special discount code for DC Tri members but I can't find it on the detail page. Does anyone know what it is?
I'm pretty sure it's the same day as the Army Ten-miler.
The Half Full is literally... half full. I think they're capping it at 1200, however... race details can be found here... http://www.halffulltri.org. Local 70 miler... for a great cause. I'm signed up!
Same weekend as Long Course Triathlon/Club Halfmax National Championship. But, if you're sticking around town, you can still get your swim, bike and run on.
How did I register in September '09? See you all there - another race over Vito's hills.
Would love to have you all come and support the race. Let me know if you have any questions. Going to link up with Julie and hopefully announce some DC Tri Club perks soon. Best in Training! Brian email@example.com
If you're doing the Half-Full. Consider fundraising with Team Fight.
It's like TNT, but for the Ulman Cancer Fund, and the minimums are MUCH lower.
And you could hang out with me.
You can get 20% off the entry fee between now and Feb. 17 at Active.com with coupon code HFACTIVE20.
[Copy URL but remove line breaks first]
The current price is $170 until there are 700 participants. After the discount, that will be $136. (Add in the usual online and miscellaneous fees on top of that.)
If the race is going to be capped at 1200 and the race is half full now, then only about 100 people can get the $136 price. Once there are 700 participants, the price goes up to $199, through July 1. (I guess the discount would still apply until Feb. 17, but the discount price for registrants after the 700th person will be $159.20, plus fees.)
I signed up back in the fall.
As for the Army Ten-Miler, they have moved the date of that race this year. It will be held on Oct. 24, 2010, according to the official website. I may sign up for that in addition to the Half Full Tri. There's a 3-week break between the two races.
Thanks! In an early morning caffeine high (and maybe a little cabin fever), I signed up. The race will force me to reengage after Lake Placid.
