If you know Rob, you know what you are getting into. One amaizing workout.
Rob's famous 3 hour spin classes are back. Yes it's swim month, but bike miles count too.
Check out all the information here.
See you Sunday!
Can you explain the cleat part? Will my shimano cleats work? Thanks.
if i had to guess if you have shimano double sided pedals (where you can clip in on both sides of the pedal) then you are good to go those are commonly called "spd" style pedals or "Shimano Pedaling Dynamics".
if your pedals are shimano pedals with only 1 side you can clip into then that will not work as that would be potentially the spd-r or spd sl style that are only 1 sided entry style cleats.
I looked it up, I'm SPD-SL, guess I'm out of luck...
if nothing else call up the ymca, just to double check.
i know most "spin" bikes have the double sided pedals, meaning one side is with toe clips, and the opposite side is spd pedals.
now they mentioned that they have "some" look style pedals, but call to make sure they do or if they are the spd-sl type., hey you never know?
Rugged spin session today in a packed room with little or no rest.
That Y sure has a weird swim configuration, tho, with the pool in the basement, and the lockers on the 2nd and 6th floors. Nicely maintained and brightly lit pool tho.
