Thanks for the rides over the summer, hopefully they'll stand me in good stead. Unfortunately the temperature will be about 16deg, or 60 in American money, so all my training in the heat won't give me any advantage!

Still on the fence after last Saturday. I got a flat just before the T and dropped off to change the tube, no big deal. Turned around thinking the group would catch back up to me at some point. 1 mile back towards DC and my seatpost clamp broke, giving me the treat of riding 20+ miles back home, standing up, the whole way. Made for a lovely Saturday morning. But who am I kidding? See you all at 7:30.

I'll leave the Hill at 7:10. This may not be popular, but I'm going to need to get in some threshold work for Myrtle Beach next weekend and will probably do a 40 min interval starting from that downhill after the reservoir. That normally takes you most of the way out to the T/opportunity to regroup with the larger group if others are headed that way. If anyone's up for that, lemme know.

I'm doing Giant Acorn tomorrow, otherwise I'd join.

I'll be out at HP Tu/Th AM though. There's been 3 or 4 of us out there pretty consistently over the last few weeks, so hope more join for Myrtle prep next weekend.

I need to get in four hours tomorrow and decided to stay here instead of go to Culpeper so I can get a little more sleep. If anyone wants to start between 8-9 let me know! I'll be adding in some race pace intervals somewhere in there. Should be chilly so get the arm warmers out!
