it looks like rain and more rain this morning so yes -- i'm bailing too. I'm up for either run tomorrow (Rock creek or Arboretum) -
I'm heading out of town this weekend so won't be around for any riding. Put some hot miles in for me.
I'm OUT as well. If anyone knows of any good rides in Charlotte NC let me know. Would like to hook up with a group down there.
I'm IN this weekend. Leaving from the Hill @ 7:10. Need to be back by 10 so I'm only going to the BP and back. May not even have time for a croissant.
Great ride today, everyone!
Some folks were looking for a long loop that goes from Arlington to White's Ferry. Here's one of my rides through there, puts me around 90 mi:
A SLIGHTLY shorter route is to stay on White's Ferry Rd from Poolesville.
That should give you a decent idea of the main parts of the course.
Thanks for posting that route Trevor.
Tina and Bob- and any other takers- want to do this ride weekend after next? I have Culpeper Sprint next weekend but would be up for it on the 11th. Let me know!
Sounds like a plan. (note to self--get in some miles next weekend)
Any A groupers heading out tomorrow AM? I'm looking to get in ~50 plus a run.
Who is in for this week?
I'll be at the hill (or close to it) at 7:10. Just going to Potomac and back.
Anyone going further?
How about B-groupers? I'm looking to do 60-80 from GTown.
I'm training for my first triathlon and looking for a 20mile-ish ride this Saturday---anyone I could join for that?
Thinking of going somewhat shorter, maybe with some hill loops on the way back, and a Hains swim later.
I'd be down for a shorter ride and a swim--I'm definitely not speedy on the bike--but up for the challenge. Can I join? When and where?
Any other B groupers in for 30 miles? (to an earlier question, one of the meeting points is at 7:30am (sharp) at the corner of M St. NW and Wisconsin in G'town. We're usually in the bank parking lot)
In for this week. I'll join in out to the T and can be persuaded to go on to Poolesville. Hoping to keep a fairly easy pace to save some energy for a race on Sunday.
Poolesville would give me 60... and your easy pace will probably be just about right for me (tacking on my 40 mile roundtrip from my house to get to GTown, I'm hoping to be at 18-19 over the 100 miles)
Travis, I'm in for the T and back, then some hill repeats in Arlington if anyone wants to join.
I'm in for the T with a couple of harder sustained efforts along the way.
I'm in for the T. Chris, I'll ride your wheel for the harder sustained efforts!
I plan to meet B-riders at 7:20ish at GTown. Will ride to the gas station or the T, depending on wht the group wants to do.
