It looks like I probably won't be there this week.

I always ride to G-town so I don't know the best place to park. Probably finding a spot on one of the neighborhood streets will buy you the most time. Or, if you have the ParkMobile app, you could park at a metered spot close to Wisco. and M and 'feed the meter' via your smartphone.

Sorry I don't have a better answer.

I don't know how long you can park on Saturdays in Georgetown -- that might be a problem. If you are driving, just park in Arlington as there are plenty of places there you can park on weekends for free and just ride over the bridge to Georgetown.

Thanks! Super helpful and I'll keep this in mind the next time I see a big B-group representation here. Happy riding!

I'll be out tomorrow, Wisc. & M in G-town @ 0730. Looks like this storm should be through by then.

Shooting for 85, so going to do Poolesville and then round things out with some hill work in No. Arlington along Military.

Also for next week I'm looking to get a Skyline trip together (maybe SkyMass route), so I'll do a separate post for that and post the link here.

Hello! I am looking to ride the 56 mile route tomorrow. With hills, I average about 18-20 mph. Thanks!

Btw, a fun rest stop afterwards will be the Clarendon Cup crit at noon, about 3 miles up Wilson Blvd from the start of the ride, in Arlington near the Clarendon Metro.

It's never too early to start thinking about the Saturday ride.

I'd like to go long, maybe 70-90 range, varying speeds, but probably 18-20 on the flats. Figuring I'll start with the group and break off at the BP.

Plan is to do something similar to THIS, but can change it around a touch if needed.

I'm in for a hundo. Looks like with some calendar rearranging I might do Total 200 this year after all (despite the AWFUL DATE), so it's time to start logging big boy miles. I'll also be going low and slow from the BP.

You can always tell when people are starting to get deep into training mode - the calls for the Sat. ride get earlier and earlier in the week ;-)

I'm out for the next few weeks due to some travel and racing plans. Looking forward to getting back out to chase you all out MacArthur in July.

I'm in to Poolesville, have to be back though, so won't make the the turn out Whites Ferry with you. Prefer out River and back Glen. @tgalbert #ChocMilkGing

In. Trevor, that is about what I have to do and what I was thinking of doing, so I'll join you. I'll PM.

I'm in for my usual blast out to the BP and back with all the hills (On the way out: Mountain Gate, Great Falls front and back; on the way in: Mohican/Mass).

For anyone needing to get back on the early side, I was home by 9:30-9:45ish.

Maybe once I'm back from my race in mid July, I'll just set up a permanent Saturday aid station at the turn around point near my place. Y'all ride near me all the time and never stop to say hi! Jeez, how rude. ;)

Any B-types up for going to Poolesville or at least the T? I'm hoping to get in 50-60 miles, but I'd be on the slacker end of the 18-20 average.

Sounds like there are a number of us heading to the Poolesville area. Looks to be "chilly" in the morning so layer up.

Who's driving the Team Car?
