It's over half way through the week... has nobody come out of hibernation to realize that it's going to be 65 on Saturday!

Don't tell Ron, but I'm planning to ditch spin and ride outside.

Still 8:30 from G'town? I'd be up for the T.

Brady -- It's gonna be 38 degrees at 8 and 60 degrees at 1. I am going in the afternoon to take full advantage of the warm temps! :)

I look at the hourly forecast and I have to agree with Zach, is anyone super opposed to pushing the start back 30min to an hour to take advantage of the warmer temps?

Just a thought.

Okay, let's say 9 AM then from G'town and 8:40 AM for the "Capital HIll Crew"

See you all in G'town at 9 AM.

Zach - 38 degrees is warm considering how cold it's been the last month!

Hi, I'm new at this, and would like to join the ride this morning. Can someone confirm that the Capitol Hill ride is now at 8:40 for everyone?

The last couple of years I've been a bike volunteer for the Rock and Roll Marathon in DC. I've been the biker attached to the lead runner for the half. It's a pretty fun way to watch the race develop for the winners.

If anyone is interested in joining me this year, shoot me a message offline and I'll put you in touch with their volunteer coordinator. They are still looking for a few people to help out.

I could be persuaded to help out.

Also, I I assume race officials back-seating on motorcycles like normal, but on the off-chance there are other, less important people that need to hang out front and still concentrate, I've got two tandems that are available as well. I rode alongside a buddy in a marathon once upon a time, and found it was quite useful for me to worry about steering and pedaling while the stoker worried about making sure he was ok, had water, etc. (Sadly, he finished fourth - but not for lack of support.)

In. Rode next to the wheelchair champ last year, who buried us on the flats & descents, lots of fun.
