In for the BP loop from Cap Hill- see you all in Gtown at 830.
Is anyone riding tomorrow (3/22/14)?
Planning on riding, but it's my first time on this route... I usually do about 18mph, thinking about going 40-50 miles. Joining in Georgetown. 8:30 AM, right?
That's right Jeremy.
looks like rain but I'd rather ride in the rain than on the trainer. Anyone else coming out?
If I hear nothing I'll be putting the bike on the trainer.
I'll be riding in the rain but on fat tires out in Shenandoah.
I still need to get you that pedal wrench!
Okay, should be decent this weekend. Who is in?
I'm headed to poolsville via a route that avoids the busy section of river road.
I'll be at the hill at 8:10.
I'm in for the B group from Gtown and will need to do around 55 from that point.
I'll be at Capitol Hill @ 8:10. Looking to roll out to the BP and back down to the Rock Creek Park Tennis courts for the 10:00AM Bike handling skills clinic with the NTP group.
Need to average 19.1 mph to make it.
Something kind of like this:
This is my first time with this group but I am confused with the meeting time. According to the website the time is 7:30 at Georgetown but I see some posts here that says 8:10 at Capitol Hill. Please confirm the times. Thanks
The main training page for the saturday ride is out of date(left over from last summer). We meet earlier in the morning later in the year when it is hotter and the sun comes up earlier. This week the times will be 8:10 at Capitol Hill and 8:30 in Georgetown. Watch the forum post for the most up to date start times.
B to the T.
In. TBD how far I'll go.
I'm in to the T for the A-groupers (if I can hang)!
Looks like the rain should be cleared out by sun up. See you all in G'town at 0800 tomorrow.
Brady, I think we're still doing 8:10 Hill/8:30 Gtown ;) Not quite time for summer hours yet...
I'm in for 40-50 miles with the B group from Gtown. See you guys at 8:30!
Sorry for the confusion Steph, meant to say 0830 in gtown... It's been a long week!
I'm thinking about doing checking out the club duathlon and getting my butt kicked that way (what's a brick, again?)
If not, I'll come out for a quick trip to the BP.
Yea Travis, and anyone else, come on out!
Temps should be about 50 at the start for the duathlon so that is pretty much perfect. No excuses, Travis!
Zack, please... you're talking to the guy that spent 14 hours playing in 40 degree rain last weekend for fun. My only concern is that it won't be enough of a challenge.
