So much love on the list! Travis, thanks - are you talking about this thread or the original list serv I set up when I started this ride in 2002? Did you create a new thread just to take it over? You've done an amazing job by the way. And Patrick, I'm pretty sure you won't be able to hold my wheel long enough to see what I'm up to. I say that because I'm pretty confident you don't have the patience to sit at the back of the pack. Ha! Give me a couple weeks before you critique too harshly- but encouragement is welcome! I look forward to seeing you all.
So excited to ride tomorrow!
So excited to wear Patrick's fast, hand-me-down wetsuit at Chicago...
Great ride! It felt like I had the yellow jersey the way I was escorted by the team all the way to the finish!
Looking for some B pace company this saturday to go long (100mi), maybe ride out to white's ferry and then out to sugarloaf....
Looking to go fairly long at B pace, maybe to Poolsville or more, maybe for a century, maybe starting from Alexandria.
Hey Pablo! I am likely in for 110 at a B pace. And I think we might be able to recruit Michigan State Patrick, Christina, Tina, Bob, Sara, Nick and maybe some others too for the distance. Sugarloaf sounds like a good plan.
Consider Christina recruited.
Bring on the blessed taper.
I'm a slower pace than Pablo, but need to do about the same distance, so if there are any B/Cers out there who want to head out for all or part of 100, let me know.
I meeting up at Capitol Hill for 100 to 110. It my last long ride on AJ's training program before Lake Placid.
Count me in for 100!
Count me in for the 110 with Megan to Sugarloaf.
-Michigan State Patrick
Is anyone doing something shorter Saturday? Maybe 40 or 50?
I plan on going less than 100… but more than 40. Probably out to the T. -- TJ
How far is that? Thanks.
If triathlete A left Georgetown traveling 100 miles and triathlete B left the T at the same time traveling 40 miles, how far is TJ traveling ? :-)
In for a loop around the British Petroleum with some detours up hills along the way.
I'm probably in for the BP+hills. A stop at Dean&Deluca would also be awesome. But D&D is only for people who love America so feel free to say no if you hate freedom.
Well, if we are talking about freedom then I might have to ride.
Just for the coffee, of course.
I'm down to ride tomorrow, I'll be at Capitol Hill @ 7:10. Meagan, Christina and others I believe will be going as well.
Hey gang - I know many are going up to NY state for Musselman, I am not going and want to get some miles in Saturday. Anybody else riding?
