Oh and, the reason the swim was switched from two courses to one course is due to the fact The Nation's Triathlon could not get a permit for the second course. We are prepared for a smooth start even with one course!

Unfortunately, Fenty isn't the Mayor of Nat'l Parks.

If he was... Triathletes would OWN this town.

You mean we don't already?! Actually, what makes this (& now the ITU) so cool is that for a brief shining moment on Sunday we will own it. Enjoy it while it lasts.

Anyone see October's Triathlete Magazine with the Best Tri towns listed? Alexandria came in #9 - maybe we can move the race down river - or else the current may take care of that for us. Let's hope we don't get alot of rain before Sunday.
