Thanks. That makes sense. Looks like there is a parking lot on the left, soon after you turn on Shoemaker St.
So who's hosting brunch this weekend?
Sounds good and I'll see you there.
If the trails are still iced over, is it the general practice to do the run on the road?
Do most people run in trail shoes or normal running shoes?
It's a mix. If you have trail shoes, wear 'em. I've been running in road shoes lately and they work just fine.
Most people run on the trails regardless of conditions. With the warmer temp and rain, I wouldn't expect ice to be much of a problem, though.
Travis, Sean, others. I'm planning to join you for 20 tomorrow on the trails. Are you planning to start at 9 or run early to start the second 10 at 9? Running to RCP?
We're planning on starting at 7:15 for an early loop. Will email you off list about carpool.
Giving this a try tomorrow for the first time. See you all at 9am.
I'll be there, with my YakTrax just in case.
What an awesome group out there today for a perfect morning to run! Thanks to all of the new people that came out.
See you next week!
It was a great run this morning. It sure beats running 11 miles by yourself. I look forward to other events.
Travis beat me to the punch but I want to echo what he said. It was great to see so many people (and new faces) out there today on what turned out to be a perfect day for running. Keep 'em coming!
I'm sooo glad I was finally able to make it out on Saturday. You all were so nice and the weather was great! I'll see you all next time.
Anybody up for a 9:30/mile pace for 10 miles tomorrow?
I would be up for that. I am carless so I am planning on riding my bike there.
I'll be there at 9 taking it nice and easy. See you in the morning.
Are folks doing road or trails? And if road, what's the typical route? I live at the intersection of Beach and W. Beach, so if there's a road contingent heading north on Beach Dr., I may start early and try and find you along the way as I run south. Joyce
We typically prefer to run the trails. Lately they've been a little iced over and pushed us to the road but Plan A is the trails.
