Solid, muddy run today.

I'm in for tomorrow-- maybe not the full loop though, but Kip says he'll host brunch afterwards! Who else?
And since there was confusion last week, are we meeting at 8 or 9 am??
=Jenny
I'm out for this week. Kip, I'll be riding my bike in VA -- will you bring brunch to me out in Purcelville?
-Travis
How about 8am? I'm planning to run about an hour.
I am in Atlantic city for a bachelor party so how about 6AM?
It's tough to tell what kind of weather we have in store for Sunday. But if it's just raining and breezy, I'm in for another muddy run of the big loop.
We'll play it by ear but things that would keep me in bed are lightning, hail or high winds. In other words, if the radar has a big red blob over DC we'll cancel. If it's just a green blob, we're ON. I'll plan to wake up around 7am and make a call and post here.
8:00am at Peirce Mill.
Who else is in?
Travis - the Annapolis City Emergency Team cancelled the A-10 for Sunday. That probably means my post-race swim at Sandy Point won't happen. If you guys are still in for Sunday, we should encourage everyone to bring a pair of goggles for a swim/run workout.
Pool noodle wouldn't hurt either. New club premium?
(It never gets old. So funny)
Maybe Ed will support on the kayak...?
We can only hope.
I might be in, mostly weather dependent, we will see how it goes.
I'm sleeping through the slop, but just a trail running reminder:
The Fall Backyard Burn series is open for registration. I just signed up for the full 5 mile series. I waited too long last year and all the individual races sold out, so now may be a good time to register if you are thinking about it.
I'm going to play it by ear tomorrow. Since there weren't any definites, I'll make a call in the morning and most likely go at 9 or after depending on a) weather and b) how much I enjoy my hurricane party tonight.
Why not lug along a few obstacles and hold a Tough Mudder style of event?
Anyone want to re-schedule this run to this afternoon? Looks like weather is going to clear later this morning and wind will calm down a bit towards mid-afternoon:

i could get into that.
1:00?
My head hurts.
I'm busy until about 4pm but that might be getting too late for folks. Was thinking an alternative route (I'm not sure how washed out RCP is). Plan is to head from Dupont down to Haynes Pt via Rock Creek trail. One loop around the point and Mall and then back for around 8-9 miles-ish. If anyone is interested let me know, we can meet at or around the Lincoln Memorial.
RT
I'm not committing to RCP just yet but want to put out the feelers on who is going to be around and interested in running? I know a few people are skipping town and not sure if anyone is staying around.
Travis
I'm in for about an hour tomorrow, starting at 8am.
the weekend forecast makes me smile!
I know we're losing some folks to Savageman events this weekend, but there will still be a solid group of us out there at the usual 8AM time.
Come out & play!
