I vote to move to the afternoon. I like to have some sleep before killing myself on the trails. Me and a buddy went at 2pm and had 45lbs packs and did the 10 mile loop. Quite the run! My glutes just started feeling better this morning. If you do that once a week, it would be impossible to be in amazing shape.
I personally prefer the am, but people can decide when they want to run since it is an informal gig.
I think many of us prefer the morning so that we can get some brunch afterwards. And some guys have kids which makes it easier to get out in the morning. Once Philly Marathon is over and we get back from Thanksgiving, I think you'll start seeing a more regular crew out there.
Props to everyone who have been keep these going.
I do plan to be out there Sunday morning after Thanksgiving so if anyone is in town, count on coming out for an easy run to burn off some pumpkin pie.

Hey Jake (and others),
I'm one of those who can't do afternoons, so I'm going to continue in the mornings. HOWEVER, the beauty of this forum is that you can post any kind of workouts that you like and if others are interested, they'll chime in.
So, if you're serious about doing some afternoon runs, why don't you start a thread and you can see how much interest there is. If so, I'll change this thread to Sunday RCP AM Runs and we can distinguish them.
And to take it a further step, if you'd like to lead the runs regularly (be the rallying person to post that you'll be there and make sure they start on time), just let me know and we can put it in the newsletter to drum up more interest.
I know there are lots of folks who want to do workouts that are held in different places at different times. It just takes a leader to help get them started.
my $.02...
For what its worth, I'd be down for regularly scheduled afternoon runs. I like to run in the morning only when its blazin' hot. Obviously not a problem now.

Ok, who is in sun at 8? I know there are some other runs, but I will be there will a friend and the weather promises to be perfect.
I'm running with family tomorrow, somewhere flat. Have fun on the hills!
I was planning to run tomorrow. Is anyone else going to be out there?
I was planning on running, the long loop. Wouldn't mind going say 8:30 or 9 rather than 8, but am open to whatever the group wants to do.
Proposing 8:30 for a fair compromise and to get some warm up. I'm bringing a friend, and planning on 6 or so.
Thanks, Scott, for pushing me and keeping me honest. Hope to see others post turkey day!
Alright, who's in for some trail running Sunday at 9am?
In, gotta get back into the swing of things again. Up for 8-10 miles?
I'll be there at 9 for my first ever RCP run. Easing back into running so probably will go shorter.
I'll be there for an easy pre-marathon run.
See you there for a run of some distance or another.
In at 9 for a shorter run.
Wow, that was a solid group out there this morning. Sorry I was late, but it actually was kinda fun to charge through the woods trying to find everyone. It sounds like next week might be a little light due to the swim-a-thon (check the calendar) and the Hot Chocolate 15k on Saturday, but post here if you're still up for running. I'd guess that this run will pick up again the following week.
