hey guys, finally around this weekend! looking forward to joining the group. Is it 9am or 8am? I'm seeing a few different times floating around, i'm guessing 9?
Anyone brave enough to hit the trails tomorrow morning?
Current forecast is 22 degrees and windy :o)
Can't count on me this weekend. Putting my garage back together and getting my life back in order, but I will most likely be there next weekend.
I think we're heading out at 7:45 for 90 minutes.
See you there
You guys leaving from RCP at 7:45? That is what I call brave...
Glad to see others are thinking the same crazy thoughts... I'll be out there, but don't wait for me, as I'll be running a lot slower than you all.
Great job to the hard-core crew that was out there at 0745! It was a brisk 15 degrees with a gusting wind. Still, it felt great to be running again!
Yeah, I'm in for this Sunday. There was talk at the holiday party of some folks training for Boston joining in. Question is the time. I'm thinking 9 or 10AM.
I am in for 9 or 10 but 10AM sounds really nice.
any 9 minute milers in the house?
I'm in, and think 9:00ish is better. If I'm not up and working out before 10:00, it's probably not going to happen.
Ty
If it is too cold to bike (likely), I'll plan to show up at 9 am. I may be able to run 9-minute miles these days if I push the pace! But I got to start somewhere.... Boston is only 14 weeks out!
Just wondering ice conditions on trails? My neighborhood streets this morning had an inch of ice on them.
I'm down for 9:00. At least the mud will be frozen solid! If it's too icy I'd probably hit the road.
The ice was totally manageable when Hugh and I ran last Sunday, although I'd favor the west side of the creek. The fact that the mud is frozen is kinda nice!
Yup - last week was just fine - but this AM dusting caused significant ice in my 'hood so wondering if same on trail.
Sounds like the 9AMs have it. See you all at Pierce Mill (north little parking lot) then. Since it's going to be cold and some folks are going to be running to RCP, we should probably be ready to go right when they roll up.
See you in the morning!
Patrick -
C'mon. The Hill group running to RCP before the run would greatly appreciate a 10 am start time. We don't need the extra ten degrees colder at 9 am. Injury city. Pllleaaaaaseeeee?
This post has the endorsement of Phil, Laurel, Joe, AJ, Nate, and yours truly,

Reveille is at 0500!!! Should be plenty of time to run to Piece Mill!
