Anyone interested is doing this run tomorrow late morning/early afternoon? I I'm going to the Club's Swim Meet at 9am.

Also, the weather is supposed to be nicer later in the day :-)

I'm on the fence between the new Snaple DC Tri Club run and the trail run. Given the weather forecast (windy) I think the trails could be a bit more protected.

Who's up for some trail running Sunday? Need some training for the Wakefield 10 mile back-back-burn the following Sunday.

I went out a few weeks ago and there was no one there but me. Coach AJ had her big training group there for a run, as she often does on Sundays, but no DC Tri folks in the usual spot. Someone should volunteer to coordinate. If no one else does, I will in a couple months, once I get my mileage and speed up.

Hey folks,
I'm gonna have some family in town who's anxious to do the 10-mile loop. Any takers out there for a run if it's not actively pouring? Running in the rain/mud on the trails can be pretty fun.

Hey Adam and Everyone,

To mesh with family plans, we're going to go at 8:30. Sorry for the late notice, but if you can make it, that would be great. It'll probably be more of a cruise than a real hammerfest.

Looks like a 70% chance of rain, so prepare for some mud and wetness. Should be fun.

Anyone interested in running the trails tomorrow? I'm going to bike over to Pierce Mill from Capitol Hill to start running by 9am (will probably leave the Hill at 8:15).

Run: 10 mile loop and then bike home.

It'll be a zone 2 (conversational) run. Would love some company!

What a nice morning for a run yesterday. This weekend is San Diego ITU and Kinetic and then a lot of are racing Columbia. So this thread might go a little light, but please post if you're interested in running (I'll be in San Diego).

When I get back, I'd love to change up my Sunday 10 mile run from the RCP trails and check out some of these new trails along the Anacostia. Some just opened:
http://www.capitolriverfront.org/_files/docs/awiriverwalk12lr.pdf

There's easily 20+ miles of trails, so plenty of options for variety/distance.

Let me know if that interests you. If so, we can shake it up for one weekend and then if there's enough interest, get another thread going.

A small group of us are headed to RCP tomorrow at 8:30 for ~90 minutes of running. Probably the big loop. I'll be keeping a fairly moderate pace.
