Thinking of trying my first RCP Sunday run this Sunday, 2 Feb...is there typically a large group (i.e., will I be able to find the group?)
You'll be picking a great Sunday to come out. As listed in the weekly club newsletter yesterday, we're kicking off NCC run month with a large group this Sunday followed by brunch at Jakes Grille (and then table tennis @Comet for those inclined).
Be sure to sign up on the Facebook event that can be found linked HERE.
See you there!
What's the longest distance people are running?
Not sure about others but I plan to do about 10.
Please click "Going" on the FB event if you plan to make it to brunch at 11am. I'm calling them later to give them a better estimate of our group size.
See y'all at 9am!
FYI the northern section of the Valley Trail was still snowy/icy/slushy/muddy this afternoon. It's passable but you'll want to run carefully.
Sweet! Last weekend it was all snow and was probably the most fun run I've had in years.
Looking forward to tomorrow and planning to go for 10 or so.
Are people running tomorrow? I'd be interested in a 8-10 mile loop.
I'm planning on it. See y'all at 9 at Pierce Mill.
I am 50/50 on it. If I get up I am there.
going to try to make it as well but to be honest I'm probably 50 /50 too.
Adam and Brady -- I'm gonna stay in Virginia and run at Wakefield instead.
Great run today. Good to see more new people come out.
Adam - thanks for convincing me to put on my "big boy" pants and get out of bed!
Hopefully Adam can help those that didn't make it out today find theirs too! (yes I know some of you had already got yours runs in)
Anyone running tomorrow? Should be nice and sloppy.
I plan to be there early for a warm up and then running the long loop at a medium pace beginning at 9.
Yup. See ya there.
In for 12 on beach drive.
In for snowy trail miles. The long loop or whatever.
20 degrees vs the dreadmill - I am in for 90 min on Beach (10-11 miles).
See you all there.
