In conjunction with the DC Tri Club and Washington DC Triathlon, Sports and Spinal Physical Therapy (SSPT) is hosting an Open Water Swim Clinic for "newbie" triathletes registered for the Washington DC Triathlon.

Location: Sandy Point Park, MD
Description: This “hands-on” open water swimming clinic has been tailored to meet the needs of new triathletes competing in the Inaugural Washington DC Triathlon and will address topics that include:
- Race preparation
- Water starts
- Buoy turns
Presenters: This clinic in being presented by Sarah Thorpe of SSPT. Sarah is a former Australian National Swimming Champion and member of the Australian Swimming Team. Support will be provided by members of the DC Tri Club, the Washington DC Tri staff, and SSPT physical therapists.
This clinic may your last chance to get wet before your first race, so register today and come ready to get wet and have fun!

Yes, the date of this event was changed. It is no longer on May 22nd. There was a conflict with an event at Sandy Point State Park. As mentioned above, the date is now Saturday June 12th.
