I'm planning to do some burst climbing work over on Chain Bridge Rd. this Sunday, starting at around 10 AM. If you are not familiar with the hill, it's about a mile worth of 4.7-degree avg grade goodness, located off MacArthur in Georgetown. I'm planning 5-7 reps; company is very welcome. It's a short loop, so really any speed would be able to come along.
If you are interested, we can meet up in the parking lot of the Safeway on Macarthur Blvd at 10 AM - address is 4865 MacArthur Boulevard Northwest, Washington, DC.
They don't seem to mind people parking there for workouts, so you can leave a car there if you are driving.
Weather currently looks very nice for the day - should be mid 50s at least by 10 AM.
Hey Elliott - I can't make it on Sunday but am curious about where exactly this hill is located. Do you have a map of the loop? Thanks!
Ryan - The google maps version is:
There is also an excellent running hill right next to it - Battery Kemble park. It's steep, but grassy and smooth.
