And who's the better athlete: IM champ, or CF champ?

Ditch digging would be good for America as long as it encouraged people to exercise more.

Thanks for sharing, Ed. Interesting read.
The CF champ would finish hours behind the IM Champ in triathlon, but the reverse would be true 'in the box'.
Who's the better athlete? Neither? Probably the decathlete in my opinion.
After 3 years of strict tri-training I find myself longing for a different challenge so this was apt timing. Not that I've conquered triathlon nor all the grueling distances, for I have not.
What attracts me to CF is indeed the variation. I used to think triathlon was diverse until the requisite s/b/r sessions became so monotonous that I dreaded them. But I know they were necessary to compete with my AG. Unfortunately, I presume the same is true for competitive CFers of 3+ years! I'm sure their variety of workouts get mentally exhausting as well.
There's no question that triathletes are phenomenal athletes. But the 'better' label is pure egotistical masturbation. For either side. That's like saying who's the better triathlete Bryan Frank or Andy Sovonick...when the real answer is Matias Palavecino :).
That is the truth. It's those calves.
