It's that time of year where bricks become part of our regularly scheduled workouts.
First one will be Saturday, May 30 (assuming we have a volunteer to watch gear).
8:00 am at Hains Point at the concrete barrier by the golf club (Brick location).
Format: Bike 3 long loops and run 1 short loop. Repeat as many times as you’d like.
Weather dependant, meaning not actively raining and below 40 degrees.
Please post if you will be there and/or willing to watch gear.
We would really like to get the Saturday bricks up and running (and biking - HA!), however we need some volunteers!!
Please post if you are willing to be a gear watcher. And you plan on being there so the gear watcher has something to watch.
I was planning on a 60 minute ride and 30 minute run if someone can watch gear.
Can someone watch gear for this Saturday? Bricks have always been a huge part of DC Tri Club. It time to get them started. Please post here if you can watch gear. Also, post here if you are planning to come down to bike and run.
I'd love to come out and ride/run this saturday morning, but I'm new and don't know exactly where to go. I'm coming from Arlington so I can ride over or drive, any suggestions about which is easier? And is there an actual address I could mapquest? Thanks!!
If no one has volunteered, I can watch gear instead :)
No open water swim opportunites or races on Saturday, so please come out to the brick workout at 8am down at Hains Point.
Please post here if you biking/running or can watch gear.
I am interested in doing a brick on Saturday. Thanks.
I'm interested in a 60 min. ride and 30 min. run on Saturday, too. Is there a specific meeting place?
Count me in. thanks!
The details of where to meet is above. See the first post with information.

Awesome, I would love to participate this Saturday! -Katie
If needed, I could be a gear watcher...just let me know.
Definitely down for a brick on Saturday.
Looks like you're needed. Thanks so much!
Let me know if you have any questions.
I might be able to watch gear at 8 o clock let me know
I'm in for the brick.
Try 970 Ohio Dr, Washington DC, that's the golf course address and should take you right to the start.
I'm new to these Bricks, but will our bikes be safe when we jump off to run around HP? And can we leave a backpack with our running shoes in a safe location while riding?
I'll be there for the brick. Looking to bike long and run fast.
