Is there any chance that someone might be able to post notes or something from Saturday's NTP orientation meeting? I've gotten the training schedule off the website, but wasn't able to make most of the session. Any general summary/overview/recap info. that is available would be much appreciated.

Generally, we went over how the training plan works, including the importance of consistency and recovery. The plan is flexible enough for you to move workouts around during the week, but it's important to stick to the overall schedule because it will ease you into doing all three sports on a regular basis.
We talked about gear basics, but you can learn more by attending upcoming clinics. There are two chances this month to attend a bike-buying clinic -- Feb 6 and Feb 13 (see the NTP calendar or weekly email for details). Other clinics (dates TBA) will cover gear, heart rate training, nutrition, running, swim stroke, transition and more.
If you have specific questions about the plan or anything else, feel free to post them to this forum. The weekly group workouts and clinics are also a great chance to ask questions and get to know everyone, so come on out!
