Tracks open to public in NE/SE?
POSTED: 8/20/10 11:50 AM

Hi all, I need to train for a couple weeks on a track - or something where specific measurements are easily attained. I know there was a thread about tracks in NW - how about NE (where I live) or even SE (my former stomping grounds).

Eastern High? Galludet? Anyone?

Thanks much.

not quite NE, but the takoma aquatic/rec center is adjacent to coolidge high school, which has a nice new-ish track that i'm pretty sure is open to the public. needless to say, there's also a pool in the aquatic center.

Galludet in NE. Just enter off Florida Ave, go past the guardhouse and it is on the right.
Good Luck
